Dentist

Majdi Alrabady D.D.S.

As a dentist, I love being able to guide a frightened new patient into a self-confident, healthy patient who enjoys coming in for dental visits. My patients are very special to me and I want each of their dental experiences to be positive ones. I treat each patient I see the same way I would treat a member of my own family - with warmth, patience and compassion.

Education and Experience

Dr. Alrabady has been practicing general dentistry and orthodontics for over 20 years. Dr. Alrabady received his most recent of three dental degrees in 2003 from New York University. In addition, he graduated overseas with a general dentistry degree in 1993 and a specialty orthodontic degree in 1995.

In the summer of 2007, Dr. A. was awarded a fellowship to the Academy of General Dentistry. Providing quality dentistry requires ongoing continuing education. Dr. Alrabady is constantly training to expand and improve techniques for your benefit. He maintains memberships to several dental associations: ADA, ODA, AGD, and GCDS.

Outside the Office

Dr. Alrabady currently resides in Independence with his wife and two children. In his free time, Dr. Alrabady enjoys bike riding, gardening, keeping up with current events and spending time with his family.

Our Practice

York Dental opened its doors in 2009. Our dental office has always offered the latest technologies and equipment. Our facility was designed from the ground up to be modern & relaxing, with state-of-the-art equipment.

My favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients become healthier and seeing their happy smiles. I love that I can make a substantial difference in the well-being of every person who comes into our office. I first learned about dentistry by taking a vocational two-year dental assisting program at Normandy High School. I later continued my studies at Tri-C Metro to become a dental hygienist.

My advice for patients is to limit acidic and sugary drinks because they will damage your teeth. Also vaping is just as bad as smoking for your teeth.

My favorite thing about dentistry is doing my part to promote healthy smiles and happy patients. I have always liked seeing the dentist and having my teeth cleaned. I chose the field of dentistry because I wanted the opportunity to help people in a meaningful way. The best part about my job is working with caring, talented, and skilled professionals.

I got into dentistry as a new career path. I loved learning new things hands-on and being able to care for others. My favorite thing about my job is helping patients become confident and happy with their smiles. One piece of advice I would give patients is to think about your future self when making decisions about your teeth.

What I love about dentistry is that I am helping improve patients' confidence in their smile. I have always enjoyed the environment of a dental office. I have had dental anxiety in the past and hope to help others overcome theirs. My favorite part about my job is seeing patients getting their braces off and their excitement about their new smile!

One piece of advice I would give patients is to take advantage of regular checkups and cleanings to keep your mouth healthy, especially if you have insurance.

The thing I love about dentistry is learning so much about teeth and keeping them healthy. I love that there is so many new things to learn. One piece of advice I would give everyone us to make a routine out of brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash twice a day!
